It’s the Egyptian 25th of Jan 2011 and one of the millions of stories within… it is a love story that was meant to be between soul mates before the creation of this universe… it was meant for them to be reborn and it was meant to be with the reborn of their country.
When you search for the roots of this revolution, you would have to find our names.
Rehab El-Smanody: an Egyptian Engineer and romantic writer with a classy background who lead the very first steps of building the Egyptian famous revolution in her province a whole Governate (like an American state) called “Sharkia”.
Tariq Tharwat: an Egyptian economist and business man who did the same with Egyptians in Kuwait where he happened to be when some few Egyptian people allover Egypt started to call for change more than a year before the Revolution everybody knows about.
Belonging to the first group of Egyptians who declared refusal of all the doomed heritage of repression, corruption, oppression and everything you can imagine killing a country. A country they adored and believe of their right to see it rising again to reach the position it deserves with being the Oldest Civilization the world ever known!
It was not easy… There were oceans of suffering… of material, mental, social and physical ordeals and sufferings… ordeals that still occurs till the moment those words are being written.
It’s a story of suffering that could kill any love story, but in our case they worked to magnify emotions and reunifies the two lost souls in one again as they were meant to be!
It’s a story of two rare personalities with rare kind of emotional needs, and rare courage to decide being a part of the fuel that will burn to push the change in their beloved country.
We, met online 3 years before we actually meet in person… knowing that we might be what each other spent a lifetime searching for, but only the spirit of revolution could make it happen. The way we met in person for first time knowing the deepest of each other’s soul but not knowing even the real names and the way fate arranged that meeting is a story you wouldn’t even believe in a fairy tale!
It’s a story about love of two people who could have never been together without a Revolution against all the rules and traditions of their community, without a Revolution against all boundaries and hardships put between them… it’s a story of a couple who could never be called a couple if they followed the rules of this world.
